Guestbook for Stuart A. Osber Showing 1 - 9 of 9 entries.

Dear Betsy, Matt, Herb, and all the Osbers,
Please accept our sincerest condolences on Stu's passing. He was a true mensch, whose constant smile and gentle nature will remain with all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Although I only knew him from our association in the Jewish War Veterans, Elissa and her parents knew the Osbers since about 1940, when they became lifelong friends and card partners for about 37 years. Elissa still remembers the store on Park and Broad Sts in Hartford.
We'll miss Stu very much, and wish you all many happy memories and peace. May his memory remain for a blessing, and may he rest in peace.

To the family...You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I had the fortunate opportunity and pleasure to work with Stuart and Jean at Stuart's in Glastonbury during my high school years. They taught me everything about the retail business as well as their professional work ethic. I always looked forward to working with them. They influenced my life in the most positive way and will never be forgotten.

I remember meeting Stuart and the Osber family years ago when my brother was dating Betsy. A very well groomed, pleasant guy Stuart was----a complete gentleman as I remember, with an array of educational background. May he rest in peace in that after life called Heaven.

Matt and family, deepest condolences to you all in the loss of so fine a man as your father. I still remember Stuart's - best penny loafers I ever had. Beyond the "stuff", he was a courteous gentleman who raised some great kids. May his memory be for a blessing. May the God of all comfort hold you all in Shalom.

I got to know Stuart because I am a regular blood donor. I donated in Manchester & Farmington. I always looked forward to talking with Stuart. I never knew his name, but immediately knew his face in the obituary. He was always friendly to me. Go in Peace Stuart.
