Dear family. Death is an enemy! So says the Word of God. True comfort comes in knowing that God does not cause our death, for He promises to eliminate death completely in the near future. I hope this gives you a measure of comfort during this difficult times. (1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8).

So very sorry for your loss and so sorry I wasn't able to make it to the funeral home. Memories of your mom from Hickory Road always make me smile. She loved all of us and treated us like her own kids. Never forget those warm memories you have of her. She was a special lady. God Bless.

My sincerest condolences to the Schmidt family. We all grew up on Hickory Rd. and our bonds of friendship brought us together along with our families. My bond with your Mom became much stronger when I cared for her as her Home Health Aide. She told me wonderful stories of her life but mostly of her loving children. You were blessed to have such a loving Mom who had the strength of character to care for you all unconditionally!! That which I always admired immensely in your Mom!! RIP Marion and may God bless you always and forever!!! Thanks for the memories...until we meet again!!
