Marion Schmidt
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 87
Mrs. Marion (nee Tedesco) Schmidt, 87, of Nutley, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 11, 2017. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum , Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Monday, February 13 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Marion was born in Astoria, Queens and resided in Nutley since 1960. She was employed as an office manager for M & M Scrap Metal Company, Elizabeth for many years before retiring 12 years ago. She was a member of the Nutley Senior Citizens and the Senior Club of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield.
She is survived by her beloved children Barbara Parasco and her husband John, Deborah Leff and her husband Gary, Carol LoCurcio and her husband Vincent, and Robert Schmidt and his wife Gyda; her brother Marty Tedesco and his wife Phyllis also her ten cherished grandchildren and her eight precious great grandchildren.
Marion is predeceased by her parents Nicholas Tedesco and Rose (nee Cotoggio) Tedesco; and her brother Vincent Tedesco and his wife Cathy.
