I was very saddened to read about the death of Colonel Scorpati yesterday. He was my first commanding officer at McGuire AFB .I was a young 2nd Lieutenant at the time just out of OTS. He was caring, considerate and a good teacher. But most of all he was a good Air Force officer who served with distinction. I will always remember him. My sympathy goes out to the Scorpati family at this time.

Joe: I just read the obit for your dad my condolences to you and Mary. I will always remember the good times we had when you had the luncheonette and I had the machine shop.I remember the time we went to your fathers house to put up those shelves in his garage.
