Louis V. Scorpati, 85 of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2016.
He attended the University of Alabama on a full football scholarship and after graduating in 1955 he entered the United States Air Force, where he served for 30 years, active and reserve, and retired in 1985 as a full colonel.
Colonel Scorpati was the beloved husband of the late Estelle (nee Toscano). He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Mary (nee Della Fera) of Clifton, NJ, his sister, Frances Parker of Lake Hiawatha, NJ and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Catherine Fox.
Entombment will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
