Stan was such a wonderful man! He leaves a rich legacy of love and faithfulness both with his family and in the lives of all those he has touched. There is no way of telling how many children will be in heaven someday partly due to Stan's dedication to the children's ministry at Holy Cross. The children loved him and missed him when he wasn't there. I personally loved having Stan sit behind me in choir. He had a good voice and loved to sing. Choir practice was different last night just knowing Stan wouldn't be back. I am sure there is a choir in Heaven and I am sure Stan is in it. I look forward to singing the praises of my Lord and King with Stan again for all eternity.

The faculty and students of Canton Country Day School send their condolences. We always enjoyed Stan's presentation of "Not All Engineers Drive Trains" and were grateful to him for giving his time to work with us during summer camp and join us on a recent field trip to learn about bridges.

My brother trusted firmly in the promise contained in his confirmation verse: "We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Rom. 8:28) Now, he also knows the reality of God's promise to him and to us: "Neither death nor life . . . will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 8:38,39) Death won't separate us from our love for Stan either.
