Stanley E. Koehlinger 67 of Bolivar, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a 5 year illness. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 31, 1948 to the late Walter and Irma (Schumm) Koehlinger. Stan was a 1966 Graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School, and went on to be a very proud graduate of Purdue University. On June 13, 1970 he married the former Nancy Urbahns. Stan owned and operated Koehlinger Engineering in Bolivar since March 1, 1997. He was an avid runner. Stan was a member of many organizations, some of them are; Bolivar Lions Club, Lawrence Township Zoning, Ohio Erie Canal Towpath in Zoar, and The Canton Regional Society of Professional Engineering. He was a member of The Holy Cross Lutheran Church in North Canton where he shared his love and devotion to his God. He is survived by his 3 daughters; Tricia (Dan) Dempsey of Canal Fulton, Stephanie (Sean) Conway of Mansfield, Kristen Koehlinger of Bolivar, his 6 grandchildren; Jay, Anna, and Kailey Dempsey; Isabella, Gannon, and Delaney Conway, his 2 brothers; Merv (Suzie) Koehlinger of Fort Wayne, Rev. Vern (Marie) Koehlinger of St. Louis, his sister; Jenny (John) Hendrickson of Aurora, Illinois, his sister in law, Ann (Mike) Vance of Snellville, Georgia, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church located at 7707 Market Ave N, North Canton, Ohio 44721. Rev. Richard "Kip" Smith and Rev. Ralph C. Hough will officiate and burial will follow at Fort Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Friends may call on Wednesday November 11, 2015 from 2:00- 8:00PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral- Home located at 248 Park Ave. Bolivar. Memorial contributions can be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in memory of Stan.
