John and Stephanie,

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with this unimaginable loss. There is nothing I can say or do to make it better, but I want to you to know that I would, if I was able. I will cherish every single memory of Emory--playing legos on my living room floor, going to the disc golf course and the boys playing music (that I never understood the words to). He was so intelligent. So funny. So interesting to talk with. My heart is crushed for you. I left my number on a note (on your porch). Please call me, Stephanie, if you ever need me. I will continue to pray for God's love to hold you up and heal your pain. We loved him, too.

Dear John; There probably isn't anything I can say to comfort you at this awful time. Just know that you and your wife are in my heart and that I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

We are Ed Bennett's parents and we want to say how sorry we are for the loss of Emory. We met Emory several times and always enjoyed him. He made us laugh with his stories. We will pray for your entire family during this very difficult time. We will miss Emory.

Our sincere sympathy go out to your family as you mourn Emory's passing. You have been in our prayers since we heard the sad news. Our son has shared with us Emory's fierce loyalty to his friends. He will be missed. He will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry for your loss Stephanie. When I subbed as the high school Sunday school teacher he was in the class. I do recall he took full advantage of the couch to rest up for the rest of the day.
My sincerest condolences.
