John Emory Stahler II, "Emory," of Chesapeake, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the age of 29 years. He was born on June 27, 1985 to John E. and Stephanie (formerly Erickson) in Rock Hill, SC. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his aunt Cathy (Larry) Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John F. and Verna (formerly Gerber) Stahler; and Calvin R. and Ruth (formerly Cox) Erickson.
Emory was a very gifted illustrator and was expressing that talent as an apprentice tattoo artist. He also pursued his interest in punk rock music as a guitarist. Other leisure pastimes of his include backpacking, adventuring, and camping, just to name a few of them.
Memorial service for Emory will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Hickory United Methodist Church (2708 Battlefield Blvd. S, Chesapeake, VA). at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the church.
