To the family of Mrs. Charlotte Elaine Lloyd Simkins
This note is to let you know that it has been a privilege to know your beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and an honorable woman. We met at the Palm in a creative writing class. I am writing because I enjoyed her poetry and communications. More important, I care.
Charlotte Elaine Lloyd Simpkin’s exceptional writing skills, warmth and serenity always inspired me. I felt joy when she proudly wrote about her family. Charlotte clearly demonstrated her appreciation for God’s mastery when she wrote about nature’s beauty. It is easily understood why Charlotte Lloyd will be remembered. The calming effect of her presence was a gift.
