I just heard this sad news today . I wanted you to know how sad and sorry I am for your loss ! Mr Amato was always a very kind person to me. I can still hear him whistling your names. Sweet memories

Amato Family:
You may or may not remember me. I worked with Jack at the linen company. What a special man!! He always had a story to tell, a kind word and fatherly advice. He was so happy for me when I went to paralegal school and moved on to a better career. Over the years I'd see him around town or at a funeral service. He'd always give me a hug and pick up like it had only been a day or two since he had seen me, when in reality it may have been months or even years. He always asked about my family as well. Again, what a special man. I pray that he has found my father, Bob Wood, in heaven and that they can share stories about their families. I was blessed to have known Jack. Dear Amato Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Jack at the funeral home. He was my BFF. He always came by my office to visit and make sure I was having a good day. Sometimes he would bring me candy or cookies. He enjoyed running errands for me and was always eager to help out in any way. Jack was a person who just made your day by making you feel special. I will keep him in my prayers along with all the family. What a great guy! May God's amazing grace bless all of you!

Words can not express just how special Jack was to me. He was one of the kindest and gentlest men I know. In 2000 after my son Seth had died, when I return to work at McCoy Funeral Home, Jack came over to tell me how sorry he was about Seth
We sat and cried together. I will never ever forget that. That showed the compassion he had. I love that man and will always have him in my heart. God bless all of you.

We were very surprised to hear that Uncle Jack passed away. You have our deepest condolences. We wanted to visit but just got done work and cannot make it on time. Wish we could have talked more at the wedding. We really loved him and liked his positive outlook. God has a good one by his side.

Jackie, Your Father was an awesome man. I worked with him for a short while at Altmeyer Funeral Home way back in 1993-1994. He went out of his way to say hello to me whenever I saw him and gave me a hug. You must be so proud of him. He was one of the nicest men I had the pleasure of knowing.
