My cousin Audrey, being nine years older than I, was always a heroine to me when we were growing up. (Her father and my mother were brother and sister.) I identified with Audrey, because we were both left handed. I was 12 years old when she married Frank, and I thought they were a princess and prince! Audrey always chuckled at a photo of me looking starstruck at their wedding! Later, I babysat for their first baby, son Robert.
Years later, when I became engaged, Audrey hosted my bridal shower.
In recent times, my husband Mark and I enjoyed spending time with Audrey and Frank when we all spent the winters a few miles apart in Jupiter and Hobe Sound, Florida.
Audrey was sweet, warm-hearted, sincere and cared about others. It was impossible not to love her.
She created many wonderful memories for family to cherish.

My deepest condolences to Frank and Family. Since 2003 when you allowed me to take over 422 Main street. It was always an honor to have the two of you live around the corner. I loved that we kept in touch, and you would stop by while I was outside gardening. Audrey was always the most kindest of people, always had a smile and kind words to say. I hold memories of her near and dear to my heart.

I still can't believe I won't experience your hugs, kisses, baking or laughter anymore. My grandmother was a giver, a lover, a family leader. She loved my grandfather, her kids and grandkids more than life. My heart is broken. Til we meet again over that rainbow!!
