Very sorry to hear of Buzzy's passing. There was never a better owner in baseball. He treated all of his players as sons, on and off of the field. Years later, I always enjoyed my trips to the store to see him. Prayers of condolences.

Dear Harriet, Marc, Faith and families,

We were so saddened to hear that Buzzy had passed away last Friday. It was an honor and privilege to know him and to be amongst his thousands of friends. We will always treasure the times we spent together at social events and when he entertained us when we visited Naples a few winters ago. We have lost a Middletown treasure, one that can never be replaced.

You were blessed to have such a wonderful, caring man as husband, father, and grandfather. Know that the three of you and your families, and the "Buzzman," will be remembered in our thoughts and prayer in the difficult weeks ahead.

Sincerely,

Rich and Lauralane Feitel

Mrs. Levine, Faith & Lober, I want to express my sincere condolences to your family.
I want to let you all know how special a man your dad was to me, every time that I came into Malloves he always greeted me with a big smile and a firm hand shake!.
As for being able to play baseball for " The Boss" it was the best, he always treated us with the upmost respect as if we were all Major Leaguers!!!.
It would be fitting in my opinion to honor Middletown's baseball community by renaming Palmer Field to Buzzy Levine Memorial Field!!
Thanks Buzzy and the Levine family for all that you have done for the Middletown baseball community and more!!

We are so sorry to learn of Buzzy's passing.
My first introduction to Buzzy
was in the mid nineteen fifties as a young little league player. We weren't formally introduced, but I always remember how enthusiastic he was about the league and its players and coaches. Over the years I noticed a selfless advocate and supporter of Middletown's baseball playing youngsters. A pat on the back after a difficult game or a confident smile when things went your way. He was extremely generous, quietly helping players and coaches with new uniforms, gloves, bats and equipment. Buzzy was always there. On behalf of all of us who played and coached thank you Buzzy we will miss you.

My sincerest condolences to you on the loss of Buzzy. Let me tell you a story I have told many. Forty-two years ago my husband brought me to Malloves to buy an engagement ring. Buzzy took such care of us and picked out the perfect diamond. That weekend, we were celebrating at Jacoby's, My Dad's, in Meriden. The waiter came to our table with a bottle of champagne for us and when we turned around to say thank you, it was Buzzy congratulating us. He was having dinner with his lovely wife. That was a gesture I treasure. He will always be remembered as a gentleman.
