So sorry to hear about Gay's passing . We spent many hours talking fish he will be missed by many friends and the hobby in general.

So sorry Joyce to hear from Ron Sidote while shopping at Home Depot yesterday about Gary's passing. As you know he was my best man at my wedding in 1982. I lost touch with a lot of people and I will always regret that. We are all so busy with various functions and work,we inadvertently lose touch with all of the friends you acquire in your lifetime for countless reasons. Stay strong during this difficult time, and seek out similar people experiencing loss, for they truly understand the heartache involved. We had a lot of fun together and I will always cherish those special times.

Gary, I just heard yesterday of your passing. There was a time long ago when I considered you my best friend. You stood up in my wedding, you threw me a bachelor party, we partied together and had too many great memories to count. Over the many years, as often happens, we grew apart, but you were always in my thoughts. (Oh, by the way, what the hell happened to all your curly blond hair?) After reading through the condolences left here, I'm happy to see that you were surrounded in life by many who loved you. You were always a good man and a good friend. I miss you and I love you good buddy. Rest peacefully.

I, like many I’m certain, are very saddened by Gary leaving this world far too early! I am so fortunate I had the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of such a unique man. I’ve only known Gary for a short couple of years, working with him at Omega, but he was one of those individuals that can’t help but make a lasting impact on everyone he meets. I don’t know anyone at Omega that did not like Gary. He appeared tough on the outside, but such a soft and warm heart on the inside. I loved how he proudly talked about his wife and his family. I will absolutely and sadly miss our conversations, his smile, his laugh, his sharp humor, his sincere and genuine greetings!

My heartfelt condolences to Gary's family in this difficult time. Every time I met him at work, he had something new to talk about his grand kids. He had a charming sense of humor and always carried a big smile. My prayers with Gary's family all the time.

As a friend/coworker, Gary always had a smile and a good sense of humor we could count on!
One of the most admired qualities Gary had and shared with all of us, was his love for his family, especially his Grandchildren! :)
I will miss his knowledge of fishing and the stories he shared too.
My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Gary always met me with a firm handshake and a smile; almost always talking with pride and joy about his grand kids. We are more for having known him. Inhaler team will miss him.
