I was so sorry to hear of Verna Mae's passing. I still remember watching her dance at the appreciation suppers at Terra in Newcastle. When we joined ULC, it was wonderful to see a face that I knew. My parents enjoyed visiting with her and Gordon when they would come visit. She will be greatly missed, but she is back with Gordon dancing again.

I have such wonderful memories of living nextdoor to the Dennis Family growing up in Randolph. They were such a loving family and the best neighbors and playmates anyone could ever hope for! Diane was my best friend through school. Verna Mae was truly a lovely lady, mother and wife and our prayers are with each of you as you lay her to rest today! One of her longings was to reunite with her Gordon and now they are together again!! God bless!

Verna Mae was on of our FAVORITE neighbors ever! I remember Verna Mae loved flowers and had a beautiful yard. She was a loving mother and a faithful wife, a helpful and kind lady to all. Verna Mae was a wonderful cook and an example of a Proverbs 31 woman. We send our love and prayers to the Dennis family.

Darlene, I'm so glad I got to meet and spend time with both your mom and dad at your house. They were a wonderful couple. Over the years you shared many tales about your mom with me...the themed bedrooms, her thing with apples, her great cooking, your mom and dad's great love, their love of dancing and more.
