I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort strengthen you for the days a head. Know that caring thoughts are with you. That "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds."-Psalm 147:3

There is not a person more kind, generous, and Helping than Karen. She was the epitome of "neighborliness" in my childhood neighborhood of Gilbert Street. She and her husband Don kept an eye on my parents as they grew older and I moved away. They even moved my father's belongings (including furniture) to his new senior apartment when he moved. Karen always checked in on neighbors who were older or having health problems. She raised three amazing, smart, successful children, went to nursing school, and volunteered her time for others. There wasn't a dog she didn't love, and was persuaded to take in a few canines by her son Mike while he was in vet school. She will be missed, but heaven's gain.

Karen was in a class I taught at ICC and we became friends since the early 1980's. She supported our family by babysitting my sons and got to visit and stay with her about 3 years ago in Peoria. Can't be there for her memorial but want to stay in touch with the family. My prayers are with you as you have lost a precious life.

My condolence to the family of Karen Ringenburg. I and my siblings were friends with Karen at Guardian Angel. I am sure that she is at peace with the Lord. She lived a good life with her family. We had great fun at Guardian Angel. Karen and her family are in my prayers. With deepest condolences, Ruth Blunier

My condolences to the Ringenburgs. Your concern and love for others will be missed. But your heart will always be with those whom you touched.
