Sorry for your loss. I remember many early, cold mornings loading out bees with John. Great guy, great memories. Thoughts and prayers!

So sorry for your loss Sherri! He will be greatly missed!! My siblings and I have fond memories of Duane and the many conversations we had with him. They always included a lot of laughter. He always wanted to know what we were up to and took the time to listen to what was happening in each of our lives. I can remember Duane bringing Christie softballs that he would collect over time from Western. She loved that! He had such a giving heart and always had a smile on his face. I will miss his energetic personality and how enthusiastic his take on life was. I think all of us, in a way, aspire to be more like him. May you feel peace and love from everyone around you.

To have Duane's approval was paramount, to have his respect was glorious, to know him as a friend is a treasure. I will miss his gravitational pull, it was very strong, steady and kind. His passing motivates us all to be more gentle, kind and helpful to each other.

Sympathies to all of Duane's family. I grew up in Ocheyedan and was in Duane's class. My heart goes out to all of you. May you find peace in knowing that he is in the greatest place anyone could be.

Through the years I enjoyed working with Duane. As he always conducted himself as a true christian. I believe the Lord got a good man.

Sherri..I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Although I only met him a few times, I know how much you loved him. Everytime we would talk about our husbands (while working together in the hospital), your face would light up and your eyes twinkled when you talked about him. He truly was your best friend. My heart hurts for you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember Duane's smile and big heart. He was truly a great craftsman and friend. Duane was always willing to drop what he was doing to help others. He will leave a huge void in the work force at WWU. My heart goes out to his family for the loss of such a great man.

Duane was a great co-worker and will be greatly missed. Very sad to hear of his passing. Sincere condolences to his family.
