Guestbook for Mildred Elizabeth Bair Showing 1 - 3 of 3 entries.

Some of my fondest memories of Grandma Mildred was when my son was little. We would walk to her pool and we would swim laps and laugh. She taught my son how to swim. Grandma could carve the prettiest fruit baskets, and take them to our family picnics. She always took so much pride in her Christmas tree, every ornament had it's place. There's many good family Christmas memories at her home, down to the burnt rolls, to the delicious pies. Grandma was tiny but she was independant and strong. I'll miss talking to her, and asking for advise. Now she's in heaven with Grandpa. My condolences. Lisa

Mildred was the kindest women I have ever known. She was like my second Mom- in my teenage years she taught me how to sew. She sewed me jump suits, taught me how to can beans, taught me how to plant a garden. Taught me a lot about life she lived in the county and it was always a treat to go visit her. Mildred taught me how to enjoy the simple things in life and I will always be forever grateful . Mildred will be missed greatly by family and loved ones. She will always be my Mother-in law to me. She is at peace now and I will always love her.

Ms. Mildred was a long time resident of the community I managed for a couple of years. She was also a customer of mine when I delivered newspapers many years before. She was one of the most lovely people I have had the good fortune to meet. She would often stop in the office to visit with us ladies and share wonderful recollections of her life. She was so very inspirational, positive and pleasure to know. She will be sadly missed by so many whose lives she touched. To her sons and granddaughter, whom I also had the privilege of meeting (and to all others who loved her) I send my deepest condolences. You're thought of and my heart goes out to each of you.
