Kim and Ed and Family,
You just don't know what a blessing it was to know Dottie. She continually cared for our neighbor's dogs without ever getting paid. She even took Charlie's dogs to get groomed all the time, because Charlie was too ill to do it. Mitzy is at a loss for her dog's caretaker now, of which I can't do because of my allergies. Dottie was also the only neighbor who donated to the neighborhood cancer drive in honor of my husband, Troy. At least I know Dottie will be greeted in heaven by Troy!

I will always remember Dottie as a good person who cared deeply for animals and for those she loved. May she rest in peace.

My thoughts are with you Ed. What lucky folks you and Dottie are to have found each other over 30 years ago. Soul mates do not drop from trees. Now take care of yourself for all those grand children; and of course the cat.

Kim, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I will miss the times chatting and catching up when I would run into her on the boardwalk during my long walks. It was always a welcomed distraction! Dottie will be missed.
