Sorry to hear of Brink's passing. We worked together at the Rolling Mill for approximately the same period of time - I was in the Technical Dept but worked with Brink daily as well as we enjoyed visiting at Management Club meetings. Hard to hear so many co-workers have passed. I am out of the are and will not be able to make the visitation however, my sympathies are with you and the family. God Bless

So saddened to hear of "Brinks" passing. He was one of the people you thought would live forever!! What a great guy. I worked with him 39 of his 43 years At Olin/Ormet/Conalco. He was always fun to be around and always made you feel special. Had the pleasure of seeing him at a recent annual get together we have of the employees. RIP Gene. God bless your family!

Gloria and family ,
Prayers to you. Words can not express your loss. He was a nice man. He's not in pain anymore. Take care and God bless. Not sure if you'll know who I am but I liked teasing with Brink at Walmart.

I met Gene in early 1973 at a CCHS Booster Meeting and several months later we were both elected officers. From there, a lifetime friendship developed that took us to hundreds of meetings and ball games and thousands of miles of travel supporting our beloved "Maroon Knights". The memories are precious and "Brink" and I enjoyed every single minute of it. Gene was a loyal and true friend, a loving family man, an excellent worker, a patriotic American veteran and passionate about his beliefs and faith. The entire "Central Family" benefited from his friendship, hardwork and dedication. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Semper Fi. My friend, hope to catch you on the other side. !!

"Brink" was a great guy to be around. Our work areas at Olin/Conalco/Ormet were in different places in the plant, but we would still come in contact several times a week. My condolences to the family and his many friends.
