Norton was the most even-tempered and postive man I knew, and a consumate professional surveyor. I will alos miss his great sense of humor. Norton will be missed by all who knew him.

So saddened to hear of Norton's passing--Susan and Charlie Jennings told us of their visit and how glad they were to be able to see both of you. We went to high school with him, and Roger was at Clemson with him also. We hope that good memories will eventually sustain you as you navigate through your loss. We thought the world of him, as did everyone!

We were shocked when we saw Norton's obituay in today's paper. Met Norton in the mid 70's at Enwright and he was and always will be a true friend and person. Non better!!

I am so sad. This is a strange turn of events for me. Last Sunday I began an Internet search for Norton. We were in basic training together in 1968 at Ft. Bragg. Today I emailed Arbor Engineering and learned that he died on Sunday. He was a true friend to me in Basic. He was a Clemson Tiger and I was an Auburn Tiger. I am so sad. He was a wonderful person.

I truly enjoyed working with Norton while I was at Arbor Engineering. Always such a gentle sole. Approachable too....easy to talk to. There was a calmness that I appreciated and learned from him.
