I was just thinking of Doug today alot!!! We had so many great memories and he was such a wonderful man. I miss you Mr. Pickens!!! Love you so much!!!

You will be missed Mr Pickens, from the laughs, jokes, sweetness, salmon patties to your peanut butter pie!!! Any one that met you love you no doubt and I AM SO THANKFUL I GOT TO BE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS!!! I will see you again in heaven!!! I love you to the moon an back RIP

Doug was such a sweetheart. I loved his stories but especially his jokes! I am so glad i had the chance to know him. He will be greatly missed but will always put a smile on my face when he is mentioned or thought of.

I was so sorry to hear about Doug. I have fond memories of Doug and my Mom ( Ruby Wade Carnes) laughing and picking at each other. Now they are cousins reunited. love going out to Betty and his entire family. Jane

I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I have many fond memories of Doug. We played many domino games around my table and his. I am sure he and J W will have a great game going in heaven now! Doug was a good friend.
