God's word tells us: "Our days ebb away...; And our years come to an end like a whisper... They quickly pass by, and away we fly." (Psalms 90:9,10) This brings to the fore that no matter how long we live it is not long enough, because man was not intended to die. (Genesis 2:17, 3;19) Rest assured God is aware of the pain felt when we lose a dearly loved one. (John 11:33) May the hope of being reunited with your deceased longed one bring you a measure of comfort and joy.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. He welcomed me with open arms and his beautiful smile every time I returned to Aberdeen to see Mom and Dad. I'm returning to Aberdeen Saturday night so I'll miss his service, but please know you all are in my prayers.
