Guestbook for David W. Bailey Showing 1 - 6 of 6 entries.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share an encouraging thought from the Bible. You have my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God will soon remove all sickness and death. (Isaiah 33:24 and Isaiah 25:8) Jehovah hates death; he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14,15).To find out more about these wonderful promises Jehovah has for the future, please visit www.jw.org.
Sincerely,

Dear Pat and Laura, So sorry about David. We felt close to your families when we lived by you. Jerry and I would like to have seen both of you. I was real sick in 2012. Jerry had some foot surgery so we were unable to come. I can't drive any more.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may God Bless you in the days ahead.

Dave was a most special man. His attention to detail and perfectionism benefited Canal for many years. I had the pleasure to work with him after I started working at Canal in 1988. But his reputation preceded that. My sister Tracy, whose talents included journalism and art, helped my mother with many projects for which Dave was the key. Among these were a cookbook, many invitations to parties (there were 8 children and lots of engagement, graduation, etc. parties), nonprofit organization fundraisers, and many more. After Dave’s retirement, I was lucky to see him several times at Shaws on Poinsett Hwy, with his breakfast buddies. He had a great wit and thinking of him makes me smile. I feel blessed to have known him. I’m having a knee replacement next Monday and my pre-surgery meeting with the surgeon is at 11 tomorrow. I hate to miss being at his service to honor him in person, but know that I have, do and will continue to honor him. Respectfully, Sydney Timmons Taylor

I really enjoyed being a part of Mr. Baileys life. He was such a wonderful person to be around. He and my father we good friends. He was very nice to give me a few drawings he had done thru the years. A very talented man. He will be missed.
