Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sarita and all of Doug's loved ones during this sad time. I will always remember Doug fondly and have wonderful memories of many times I have spent in his presence. He leaves behind a wonderful family and I know you will all be a great source of comfort and support for one another. Words are never adequate in moments like this. We will say though, that our hearts always remember him for his caring, outgoing and friendly nature.

My son Isaiah has fond memories of him and considers him family. He was his Uncle Doug and is very saddened as well. We had a chance to visit him a couple of weeks ago before relocating to another state so that we could tell him how we felt and to render our "good byes". He laughed as my son recounted some of those very funny moments that he spent time with Doug. We will miss him greatly.

We are sorry that we cannot be there for his home going but we will be there in spirit.
