Phyllis,

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I remember him fondly from the early 70's when we worked together at Tom Hanson's office in Richmond, Va.

A few years ago Tom sent me a photo from those days and Gene was wearing some wild plaid pants. Those were the days....

My love and prayers are with you, Phyllis, and your family. May God's love surround you in your sorrow to bring you comfort and understanding. I will always remember Gene playing cards with us at the Senior Center. He will be missed.

Gene was my father-in-law for over 20 years. It just does not seem real that this wonderful man has left this earth for his heavenly home. We are all saddened and feel lost without him. Gene was so kind and always wanted everyone to enjoy life when he was around. I experienced laughter and fun whenever I was in his presence. To Phyllis and the rest of the family, I pray for your comfort during this difficult time. I love all of you.

Gene and Phyllis were former members and supporters of St. Katharine Drexel parish in Maple, NC. Our prayers and sincere condolence to the family at their time of great loss.
