I am sorry to hear about his passing, I was just thinking about him a few weeks ago, thinking it had been a while since he'd been in to see me here at Naval Hospital. He was a wonderful man and will be missed but know that he is finally free of pain and rejoicing with Florence and Rock who he never stopped missing. Prayers for the family.

“May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand”

It is with great sadness that I hear of Tom's passing. A great man, father, and friend. Tom and his unendless smile will be missed but always remembered. May he, his beloved Florence, Rocky, Dennis and all that have gone before us, assist with our passing when the our time arrives.

I am very proud to have had Tom as one of the instructors who put me through Class # 38 at Little Creek. Tom was also my platoon chief when we deployed to Nam in 1969. Tom was an icon that will sorely be missed by all of us. Condolences to all of the family. Bill, Ann, Owen and Jon Gardner

It was my good fortune to have been able to call Tom my friend. He always greeted people with that great smile and a firm handshake. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tom and I shared a Med cruise back in the 60's and have been friends ever since. He will always be remembered as a great Seal and a great man. I will truly miss you and may God rest your soul. Mac (John McCarron SMCS USN (ret.)

I was so sorry to see your dad's name listed on the obituary page this morning. I was lucky to have him and your dear mother as my neighbors for many years. Both were smart, talent, funny and kind. I've missed your mother since her death, and I've missed the bionic Tom Blais since his move. My condolences to you all.
