WE WILL MISS YOU AUNT OCIA YOUNG YOU WERE SUCH A SWEET AND CARING AUNT TO US YOU WERE THE BEST LADY ON SQUAW POINT YOU WERE ALWAYS MAKING US POT HOLDERS AND GIVING US YOUR HOME GROWN VEGGIES YOU WORKED SO HARD TO GROW AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET THEM TASTY FRESH FARM EGGS YOU WERE ALWAYS GIVING US YOU WERE TRULY A SWEET AND AMAZING AUNT WE WILL REALLY MISS YOU WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU WE LOVE YOU MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND GOD BLESS UNCLE ROBERT AND OUR COUSINS MAY THEY ALL BE COMFORTED DURING THIS HARD LOSS OF AUNT OCIA WE LOVE YOU ALL AND MY FAVORITE MEMORY OF AUNT OCIA WAS I WILL ALWAYS HAVE OF AUNT OCIA IS THE BLUEGRASS FESTIVALS SHE ALWAYS KNEW I LOVED TO PLAY THE GUITAR AND SHE WOULD ASK ME WHERE MY GUITAR WAS AT AND THAT I BETTER GET IT OUT AND JOIN THEM :-)

I am so sorry to learn of Ocie's passing. I grew up in Cortez CO and spent many weekends at Robert and Ocie's home on Squaw point. She would never let you leave the table hungry and she truly enjoyed company. We played music to all hours of the night and then go check traps. Ocie always had a meal ready when we got back, and the tallest and tastiest sweet tea she made. My glass there was never empty. God bless Ocie and her family. There should be more like them. Rest in Gods loving care Ocie Young.

Our Thoughts and prayers are with Ocia's family during this sad time.
She will be missed. It was great knowing Ocia as a kid growing up all the family's getting to gather making homemade ice-cream and playing music and visiting always a good time. May god comfort you all.

To Ocie's children and Robert,
She was an amazing lady. She was one of my favorite Dove Creek people. When I first met her she was so shy, after a few visits she warmed up and we had some wonderful visits while Robert did farm business. She left you guys a great legacy. Treasure it. You have my deepest sympathy and I, for one, will miss her and her smile.
