To my big sister,
So many good memories, especially my summer trips to Detroit when you taught me the facts of life, gave me my first "home permanent,
the weekends at "the lake", learning how to water ski, and those never-ending games of Monopoly in the house on Telegraph. Our trip to Yosemite, the gold country, you driving my new car down the crookedest street in the world when you came out to California and flirting with old
Santa after the Christmas parade
in Morgan Hill. There will never be another like you, my dear.
So glad you shared your life with me.
Love, Dolly

Rae Bruder was a special lady. She always made me feel welcome. We had good times in the women's club in Kings Mill. Saw her once at the home and she knew me. See you again when it's my time.Rest in peace. Elvera

Whenever I would think of my aunt Rae, I would conjure up an image of a tall ball of energy coming attcha; a picture of the efficient classic domestic engineer coupled with a can-do Rosie the Riveter. A woman who ran a tight ship, worked hard and played hard. A larger than life woman with an ongoing sense of humor, quick to laugh and a definite drive to "do the right thing". Wish I could have gone camping more with you and the Bruder gang, but we'll catch up one of these days. But in the meantime, thanks for the memories.
Peace & Love,

Dearest Aunt Rae, you were the life of the party, bigger than life itself, a wonderfully, happy woman that always smiled and would hug you like you've never been hugged before! Whenever I hear a good joke, I will think of you and think that you would have liked it :). You will certainly be missed.
I love you,
Sissy
