To my friend and buddy. Robert was my roommate approximately sixteen years ago when we both worked for Bi-Lo. He was a great friend as well as a wonderful father to his daughter. I only knew her for a short time as a child but I could tell she meant the world to him. I will miss you my friend. I wish I would have kept more in touch. God be with you and the ones you've left behind.

My heart goes out to all! Mr. Hood was a great mentor to me when i was working with him at the kangaroo. He always kept a positive additude no matter how much pain he was in. Even with the short time of knowing him he was a extraordinary person that had some much life. He will be missed! God Bless you all!

I first met Robert when he was my mother's boss (and eventually friend) at the Kangaroo Express on Whiskey/ Pine Log Rd. He was so special to my mother. And he will always be remembered by me. To his daughter, Jessica, I know that you are a strong woman and that nothing like this is ever easy, just remember (and if I know her) you need her (referring to mama), you call her. She loved your dad very much. He was her friend and she was proud to call him a friend. May God bless you and your family! I know he will be there with you ALWAYS in spirit.
