Johny was born in Torrance, CA to Eileen Wampler and Pastor Macasieb on December 5 1949. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and retired in 1987. He was in the Vietnam War and earned several distinguished medals and citations. John met the love of his life, Linda, and were married for 45 years and raised three boys together. After retiring from the Army he began a career as Department of Defense Police Dispatcher for Long Beach Naval Installation which he retired from after 20 years. His greatest love and enjoyment were his grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife, Linda, children; Robert, Raymond (Mandy), and Jeff (Elena), grandchildren; Rebekah, Miranda, Rachel, Mireya, Junior, Christian, Jacqueline, and great granddaughter, Ariana. John will be missed truly and forever loved. You have taught us well through your actions.
