Pasquale "the Pope" Cantore, of Irving, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2019. He was 71 years old. Born in Malaventre, Italy, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lucia (Desiana) Cantore.
Pasquale graduated from Pemberton Township High School in New Jersey, where he was very well-liked and popular. He also attended college in Raleigh, North Carolina. He proudly served in the Army Reserves and worked for UPS and as an E-banker for many years. He loved to dance. He danced on American Bandstand and taught his sisters to dance.
He is survived by his four siblings, Anne Cantore Venezia, of West Norriton, Robert Cantore (Sue), of Chicago, Renada Cantore Woodward, of Mt. Holly, NJ, and Bernadina Cantore, of North Carolina; seven nieces; three nephews; four great nieces; and two great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, James Joseph Senwesky.
