Funeral services for Emily Irene Garchar will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Saint Jude Catholic Church in Dove Creek, Colorado. Reverend Pat Valdez, C.R. will officiate. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery.
Emily was born June 21, 1926 in Cedar Point, Utah the daughter of Aldeberto and Margarita (Compagnoni) Semadeni. She passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the age of 92.
Surviving Emily are her children, Mike Garchar (Julie) of Baker City, OR, Dwayne Garchar (Cherrie) of Cahone, CO, Margaret Ann Weese of Mancos, CO, Steve Garchar (Audrey) of Dove Creek, CO, Eric Garchar (Shari) of Dolores, CO; her siblings, Dahlia Dutson of Leamington, UT, Dora Sorenson of Springville, UT, Irene Larson of St. George, UT, and Lorenzo Semadeni of Farmington, UT. Emily was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Albert Garchar; her son, James Garchar; her brothers, William Semadeni and Oscar Semadeni; and her sister, Margaret Fury.
