Richard “Dick” Liddicoat of Richland, WA passed away peacefully on July 17, 2018 from Lewy body dementia with his family by his side at Chaplaincy Hospice in Kennewick, WA.

Dick was born in Butte, MT August 7, 1937 to Raymond and Katherine (Madison) Liddicoat. Dick obtained his GED later in life, having joined the United States Marine Corps at an early age, serving for 6 years initially in Korea and later as an instructor at the Mountain Warfare Training Center near Bridgeport, CA. Throughout his life he worked as a ranch hand, poker dealer, machine mechanic, and upon retirement kept himself busy as a camp host and building maintenance mechanic.

Dick met Denise, his wife of 41 years, in Butte, MT. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and as a cowboy felt most at home in the wilderness of Montana. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a playful grandfather, and a push-over for his dogs. Dick loved to quip and kept his hands busy with wildlife drawing, wood carving, and fixing things around the house.

Dick was an active member of Bethel Church and had many friends from that community. He is survived by his wife, his sisters, children, and grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at Bethel Church, 600 Shockley Rd, Richland WA 99352 with a reception for family and friends to follow.
