ALEXANDRIA, IN - Frank H. Horn Jr., 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 28, 1933 in Alexandria to Frank Sr. and Alice (Dickey) Horn and has lived in Alexandria all of his lifetime. He was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1951 and the 4 year GM Apprentice program. Frank retired from Guide-Lamp in 1990 after 40 years of employment. He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Yule Golf Club of Alexandria. He was a member of East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood. Frank was a lover of the outdoors and wildlife. Frank was a lifetime member of the Alexandria Conservation Club.
He is survived by his two daughters-Lisa (Robby) Betz-Alexandria, Traci Sicurella-Toms River, New Jersey
2 Grandchildren-Adam (Kim) Douglas-Toms River, New Jersey, Sarah (Travis) Matern-Anderson
4 Great-Grandchildren-Elijah Matern, Russell Douglas, Savannah Douglas, Adam Douglas Jr.

2 Brothers-Jack (Pat) Horn-Akron, Don (Maureen) Horn-Alexandria
Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years-Jeannette (Knuckles) Horn in 2012.
Services honoring Frank’s life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria. Pastor Roger Gardner will officiate. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home on Tuesday after 11 am prior to the services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the East Main Street Christian Church through the funeral home.
