ALEXANDRIA, IN- Sharon L. (Christie) Thomas, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on June 21, 1944 in Hastings, Minnesota to Guy and Marie (Duffing) Christie and has resided in Alexandria for the past 47 years. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Inglewood, California. Sharon devoted her life to caring for her family and home. She enjoyed reading, fishing, shopping and especially time spent with her family.
3 Sons-Leroy (Kori) Thomas-Anderson, Keith Thomas-Alexandria, Gerald Thomas-Summitville.
4 Grandchildren- Zachary Thomas-Orestes, Amanda (Jacob) Donnelly, Abby Thomas and Bethany Thomas all of Anderson
2 Great-Grandchildren-Leighla Donnelley and Leland Donnelly

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Estle Thomas in 1995, in-laws-Arthur and Ruth Thomas, Sister-Rita Billson, Sister-Barbara Martin
Services honoring Sharon's life and legacy will take place at 10 am on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria. Pastor Daniel Stevens will officiate. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home on Sunday from
