ANDERSON, IN - Kathleen "Kathy" Garrett, 76, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Countryside Manor in Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on March 25, 1941 in Vicco, Kentucky to Jessie and Gracie (Phipps) Jent and has lived in Anderson most of her lifetime. Kathy had worked as an aide at Community Hospital-Anderson and more recently in private home health care. She loved playing bingo and being with her family.

2 Great-Grandchildren - Chandler and Kinzlee Irwin
3 Brothers-Jesse (Carolyn) Jent, Dallas (Melanie) Jent and Arthur (Shelley) Jent all of Anderson
2 sisters-Thelma (Phil) Warner-Anderson, Wilma (Toby) Gustin-Wolcottville

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-Tim Garrett, daughter and son-in-law-Angel and Jeff Irwin, 3 grandsons-Jacob Irwin, twins-Brock and Brandon Irwin
Private family services will take place at Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria. Private graveside services will take place at Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
