ALEXANDRIA, IN- James L. White, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on June 13, 1934 to James C. and Grace (Chase) White. Jim served in the Indiana National Guard and later finished in the Army Reserve. He retired in 1996 as union contract painter. He enjoyed his Harley, playing cards and fishing.

Daughters-Connie (Jerry) Stapleton of Madison, Diana Hutte (Rick Goodwin) of Marion
Son-Kim (Cathy) Harmon of Elwood
Sister-Mary Songer
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife-Edna (Cummins) White in 2008, daughter-Judy M. Swindell, son-Dennis Harmon.
There will be no public services. Private interment will take place in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria at the convenience of the family.
