SUMMITVILLE, IN- Zola D. Rankin, 74, passed away on February 1, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on November 22, 1943 in Jay County, Indiana to Jacob and Corinna (Miller) Fifer and has lived in Summitville for the past 47 years. She had worked for Marsh Supermarkets for 20 years. Zola loved to sew, cook, bake and work in her garden. She was very fond of listening to Southern gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers-Paul “Ernie” Fifer, William “Bill” Fifer, Harry “Ben” Fifer, Cecil Fifer, Charles “Chuck” Fifer, Franklin “Dee” Fifer, Archie Fifer, Sister-Gracie Baldwin, Audrey Fifer
Zola chose cremation as her final disposition and private family services will take place.
