ALEXANDRIA, IN - William F. “Bill” Gustin, 76, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at IU Health Tipton Hospital in Tipton following an extended illness.
He was born on October 21, 1941 in Anderson to William and Mildred (Stroud) Gustin and has lived in Alexandria for most of his lifetime. Bill served with the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1962. He retired from Kennedy Tool and Die in Alexandria in 2001. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

4 sons-Jay Gustin-Muncie, Billy Gustin-New Castle, Matthew Gustin-Anderson, Samuel Gustin-Terre Haute
4 Daughters-Lisa Gustin, Terry Gustin and Lori Gustin all of Connersville, Amanda Gustin-Tipton
Several grandchildren including Jasper Brown and Ainsley Brown
3 Sisters-Mildred White-Anderson, Mary Ann Remy-Florida and Sue Halverson-Alexandria
Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother-Ted Gustin, Sister-Marsha Gustin
Services honoring Bill’s life and legacy will take place at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Pastor Joe Brock will officiate. Military honors will take place following the services. Cremation will follow the service and private interment of cremains will take place in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm on Tuesday prior to the services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wound Warrior Project through the funeral home.
