ALEXANDRIA, IN- Tony L. Holford, 55, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson from a sudden illness.
He was born November 1, 1962 in Anderson to Virgil and Catherine (Street) Holford and has lived in Alexandria for most of his lifetime. Tony graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson-Class of 1981.He had been employed in food service at the Alexandria Eagles Lodge and was well known for his cooking abilities. He was a member of the Alexandria Eagles Lodge-#1771. Tony enjoyed woodworking and played softball for several local teams.

3 brothers-Rick Holford and John Holford both of Alexandria, Greg Holford of Pendleton,
Special Friend-Lori Huggins-Alexandria
Several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-Kenneth “Pee Wee” Holford
Services honoring Tony’s life and legacy will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Pastor Randy Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow I Park view Cemetery in Alexandria. The Alexandria Eagles will conduct a memorial service at 1:45 pm on Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home after 12 Noon on Thursday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Owens Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
