Carmela Poli, 91, died Thursday, July 20, 2017. Born in Bari, Italy she lived in North Bergen for over 70 years. She worked as a seamstress for both Liz Claiborne and Evan-Picone in North Bergen before retiring. Carmela was the beloved aunt of Franceso G. and Janet M. Buongiorno and the cherished grandmother of Vincenzo D., Lucia R., Maria R. and Francesco G. Buongiorno. Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Tuesday, July 25th at 8:15 a.m. thence to St. Lucy's Church, 118 7th Street, Newark for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Montclair. The family will receive friends on Monday 4-8 p.m.
