Joseph "Joey" Racz, II, age 22, of Lapeer, died suddenly Friday, July 14, 2017. Joey was born October 29, 1994 in Rochester Hills, to Joseph and Lyn (Bentley) Racz. He graduated from Lapeer West High School in 2013, where he played on the Hockey Team. Joey loved playing and watching hockey, he also enjoyed lacrosse. He worked part time at the Peroni's Hockey World in Flint, while attending the University of Michigan - Flint. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings and University of Michigan Fan. Joey will be missed by all of his many dear friends and loving family.
Joey is survived by his parents: Joseph & Lyn Racz of Lapeer; grandparents: Marv & Patricia DeLaura of Oxford and Robert & Mary Ann Racz of Michigan; and many many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 4-7PM Monday, July 17, 2017, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Joey's funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.MuirBrothersLapeer.com
