Donald Jerome Frisch
  
Donald Jerome Frisch, 91, of Oxford, died Sunday July 9, 2017. He was born May 8, 1926 in Flint to parents Emil and Violet (DeGuerre) Frisch. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Don returned home to court and marry Anne L. Ireland on June 21, 1947 in Detroit.

Mr. Frisch was a former member of the American Kennel Club and enjoyed breeding and showing Brittany Spaniels as well as raising horses. He was a member of the American Legion Post #16, Lapeer. Don loved to visit garage sales, auctions and reading. Above all else; he loved his family.

Mr. Frisch is survived by his children: Kathleen (Murray) Cooper of Warren; Mary Beth (Bill) Hendricks of Macomb Twp.; Barbara (Paul) Opsommer of Williamston; Margaret (Mike) Daigneau of Chesterfield Twp.; Amy (Kevin) Smith of Pinckney; Julie (Leo) Calabro of Oxford; Nancy (Kevin) Asp of Denton, NC; Molly (Scott) Paruszkiewicz of Oxford; Donald (Sharon) Frisch of Oxford and Anne Marie (Bill) Holden of Metamora, 31 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Anne Frisch, daughter: Patricia Frisch, sister: Jeanne Shafer as well as his parents.

His visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, with a 7:00pm Rosary prayer. The funeral mass will be 11:00am Thursday July 13, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church, Lapeer. Burial will follow in Mt. Loretto Cemetery with a military salute under the auspices of the American Legion Post #16 Honor Guard.
