Alan Francis Eiler of Aberdeen died Wednesday, July 5 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 65.
Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Lillian (Barnes) Eiler of Aberdeen and the late Francis Eiler.
Since his retirement as a nurse at Father Martins Ashley, Alan enjoyed camping all over the country and spending time with family.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Swope of Baltimore and his siblings, Bruce Eiler and Diane Bost both of North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 1:00pm at Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the National Park Foundation at www.nationalparks.org.
