Helen R. Lucas (nee Walsh), 103, died June 30, 2017 in Sylvania, Ohio.
Born in Jersey City she lived in North Arlington before moving to Toledo, Ohio 26 years ago.
She worked as a secretary for the George Litwak and Associates Insurance Company in Newark for many years before retiring in 1976.
She is the cherished mother of Gary Lucas of Belleville and his wife Virginia and Gail L. Erbe and her husband Jim of Toledo, Ohio, the adored grandmother of 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, the loving sister of John Walsh, and the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 9 siblings.
Visitation will be held at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 8:30 A.M. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
