Hubert Errol Fisher, 63 of Round Rock, TX, was born on April 3, 1954 in Edna, TX to Ivra Lane Fisher and Garfield Fisher. In his early childhood years he was active in the junior choir, Christian education and many other youth activities at Scruggs Chapel United Methodist Church. He graduated from Edna High School in 1973 and attended Prairie View A & M College. He married Clara Hopes and to this union one child was born. He was a skilled carpenter and was very well known as a Bar-B-que King.
In 1995 he moved to Austin TX and in that same year confessed to Christ at St. Peter's United Methodist Church under the leadership of Rev. Morris Daugherty Sr.
Our loving Hubert departed this life into his eternal rest on Saturday, June 24. 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Garfield Fisher. He leaves to cherish his memories his Mother, Ivra Gilbert (Samuel), his sons Avery and Canissius Fisher of Austin, TX, his loving and devoted friend, Alicia Hicks and son, Gary Moore of Round Rock, TX and daughter, Felecia Hicks of Houston, TX; two brothers, Karl and Ira Fisher of Austin, TX; one sister, Phyllis Travieso of Killeen, TX; four grandchildren, seven nieces, five nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
