BRITTON – Roberta Diana Britton, 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 15, 1952 in Baltimore, MD; the daughter of Beverly (Hallock) Hoffman of Georgia and the late Robert Hoffman.

Roberta received her Masters in Rehabilitation Psychology and started and managed one of the first TBI support groups in Litchfield County for a few years. She also wrote a TBI workbook and was passionate about her successful scholarship fund; Head Injury to Success. Roberta loved eating pancakes, enjoyed Arts and crafts, taking pictures that captured beautiful moments and was a huge movie buff and critic. She was an animal lover and her family meant everything to her. She will be deeply missed by them and all her friends.

She is survived by her children, Bobbi-Jo Preston of Florida, Diana M. Britton of Texas, Robert A. Britton and wife Sarah of West Hartford and Ronald D. Britton and wife Shelly of New York; grandchildren, Natasha and Alyssa; longtime companion, Daryl Sultaire of Winsted; and adopted sister and best friend, Deirdre "DeeDee" Cobelle of Woodbury. She also leaves her beloved pets. She was predeceased by her former husband and father of her children, Walter E. Britton, Jr., who passed away in 2013.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 2 – 4 PM. Burial will be private.
