Sebastian John DiMauro, Jr.

Sebastian John DiMauro, Jr., 80, of Middletown, beloved husband of Adela Rose (Lancia) DiMauro for 59 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Sebastian John, Sr. and Fannie (Bushimo) DiMauro.

Sebastian lived in Middletown all of his life and was a Deacon of Victory Christian Church in Middlefield. He was employed by E.I.S. for thirty-two years. Sebastian was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Marine Corps and earning the rank of Corporal.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Teresa DiMauro, Lori DiMauro and Judi Satagaj and her husband Bill, all of Middletown; two brothers, Richard DiMauro of Middletown, NY and Jerry DiMauro of AZ; a sister, Rose Marandino of Simsbury; two granddaughters, Myla Rose Cammilletti and Samantha Satagaj and a great granddaughter, Jenna Lee Walden.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Joseph DiMauro.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Victory Christian Church, 191 Meriden Road, Middlefield. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening before the service from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 10:30 am at the State Veterans' Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown where full military honors will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sebastian's memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans Middletown Chapter, 156 Prospect Street, Attention Tom Goglia, Middletown, CT 06457.
