Gerald Ellis Limberger, age 62, of Attica, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Jerry was born May 5, 1955 in Pigeon, Michigan, to Roland and Neva (Lutat) Limberger. He married Margaret Russ on July 23, 1988 at the Light House of Lapeer Church of God. Mr. Limberger was an excellent master mechanic. He owned and operated Lapeer Truck and Trailer Repair for many years, specializing in diesel truck repair. Jerry enjoyed going to "dirt track" car races, especially at Owendale Track. Mr. Limberger loved time spent with family.
Jerry is survived by his wife: Margaret Limberger of Attica; children: Richard (Sarah) Gray of Attica, Timothy (Cheri) Gray of Columbiaville, Rebecca (Brett) Becker of Lapeer, Sherri (Edward) Williams of Flint, Matthew (Starlynn) Gray of Lapeer, Christie Barnard of Lapeer, Chuck Pitcher of South Carolina, Debbie Evans of South Carolina and Veronica Limberger of Elmira, Michigan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Earl Limberger of Cass City, Larry (Barbara) Limberger of Cass City, Ruby (Del) Kaisler of Wisconsin, Nancy (Gene) Schroeder of Northern Michigan, Tim Limberger of Northern Michigan and Cindy Ramirez of Bad Axe; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roland and Neva Limberger; and siblings: Beverly and Junior.
A memorial celebration and gathering will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2017, beginning at 5:00P.M., at the Attica Township Hall, 4350 Peppermill Road, Attica MI 48412.
